Description

The corruption of man happened slowly over centuries as vile auras whispered long forgotten words of power in the thoughts of men. Utterance of these words filled the tributaries of dark mana winding through the ethereal realms until the facade which separated the ephemeral and the eternal shattered, like the bursting of a dam, flooding the land and consuming the free will of all who had spoke the words. In these forlorn times righteousness was diluted but not drowned away, for the guardian spirits of the forests had placed their eternal hopes in the minds and wills of the beasts they had long protected. Unknown to man, the land had awoken… In Seasons of Courage you play an "awoken" beast, ordained to take back the land from the evil entities that had poured out from tares in the fabric of reality. In order to accomplish this you will defeat challenging bosses, acquire new gear, and build townships to defend the land. The challenge may be fierce, but fear not, for your fiends and allies will join you in cooperative combat. Featuring souls-like combat with multiple fighting styles, an up-gradable zelda-inspired inventory system with a variety of secondary weapons, and an interactive town building system, Seasons of Courage is sure to be enjoyed by you and your gaming party.
